Kudos is a community-driven initiative created to bring the people of Killarney together through uplifting events and meaningful recognition. Powered by the Killarney Advertiser and backed by local businesses and the Chamber of Tourism and Commerce, Kudos is here to celebrate the spirit of our town.
This year, we’re hosting two special events to bring the community together. In late summer, we’ll kick things off with a FREE family fun day, packed with great food, live music, and entertainment for all ages. Then, in November, we’ll present the first ever Kudos Community Awards, honouring the individuals and organisations that go above and beyond to make Killarney a better place.

Our year culminates with the KUDOS Awards, a dedicated awards ceremony recognising inspiring everyday people, organisations, and groups in Killarney. These are the individuals who step up when others turn away and create spaces at the heart of our community where lives are transformed. Without these selfless people, our community would be much worse off.
